The new lithium battery that is supplied as standard with the X7 Lithium & X9 Follow can be used with X-Series trolleys of all ages. Now you can swap your old heavy lead-acid battery for a lightweight lithium version.
The new Lithium Phosphate 22Ah can be used in any X Series (X1, X3, X5, X7 or X9). There are no electronics changes or adjustments necessary; you can just start using the new battery as a direct replacement.
The battery is protected by a sophisticated battery management system (BMS) that constantly monitors every cell to ensure the battery is always optimised for best performance and life. It is supplied complete with battery lead and protective neoprene case.
You will note that the lithium battery is supplied with blue/black connectors, whereas your trolley may be fitted with red/black connectors. This change has been made to emphasise the importance of using the correct battery charger with this battery – using the wrong charger could damage the battery.
Do not use a lead-acid charger with this battery. Only use the correct charger as supplied by stewart golf. The lithium battery can only be charged with the battery charger that has the black/blue or black/red torberry connectors

- In laboratory conditions over 1000 simulated charge cycles, the battery will retain at least 80% of its capacity.
- The battery can be expect to lose 2-3% capacity per year through cell degradation, compared with a lead/acid battery which can lose 8-9% per year.
- During testing of the battery with the Stewart Golf X-Series, its average use was 12-15Ah of the 22Ah battery per round of golf.
